I just watched the 4th one. Surprised to see epic meal time in the vid. They kinda went downhill after their first few vids. The gorilla on the ladder part is cool. I would've been nervous up on that ladder waiting for block to sideswipe the ladder out from underneath me.

I like the 3rd one, when he does the donuts until the tires disintegrate, and the rims are sparking everywhere.

Is it just me or does the Fiesta resemble a remote control car in these vids?

It would have been cool for them to use the tilt-shift lens and make it look like a toy car.

Do you not have to turn into the drift in Forza, or is that just bad timing to take a picture? Most (not all) of the drift pics I've seen, the car is just pointed straight, looks like an out of control slide not a drift.

Looks better to get the rim than the tire IMO

Well if you take a drift pic from that same angle, when you are turning into the slide properly, that will actually point the entire rim at the camera. You only see more tire than rim if the car is coming at you, not moving away from you, which in that pic is technically happening. If you took that pic with the wheels pointed to the right (into the slide) that would face the entire rim at the camera. Example to clarify what I just said:

Drift coming at you = plenty of tire:

Drift (yes I know it's a donut but still the same concept) going away from you = plenty of rim:

I'm not trying to tell you how to take your pics obviously, and there are certainly things that I could improve upon myself as well, I was mainly just curious as to why your wheels were not turned into the slide.

Also that Audi isn't tuned for drifting so that influences how I come out of drifts. as well as that part of the track being a straight and not a corner. lol This was one of those "Drift coming at you" pictures to me and when I went to take the picture I unpaused the game and made my wheel straight so you could get a shot of the rims

edit: I also in no way claim I am good at drifting in this game. The only cars I do half decent (3rd-5th place online) in are the Subaru and Trueno which I spent time tuning

I guess we're looking at it different lol
To me, I imagine it as if I am standing on the inside of a corner as the car is going around. Since you can see the side of the car, not the front, that means it has passed you already (if only by a bit), which is the same as going away from you. Just me though :)

I tuned the audi TT last night for drifting, its not very good its slides all over the place and fish tails alot.
Yeah I noticed that in alot of the pictures, the wheel is never turned its always straight. I'm thinking it has something to do with the fact that when you reach over to press the start button to pause the game to take a picture you let go of the steering wheel and it auto-aligns.

You can't take a picture from a replay? That's how it is in GT5, you watch the replay, then pause it whenever it looks good.

Yeah we do a lot of drifting. It's my favorite honestly. We're not the best at it but we don't suck either. I'm sure if we actually got better at tuning we'd be beast. It took me hours to tune my WRX for drifting and be completely happy with it.
