    Hmmm. I see what you are saying...but what I am drilling is not sheet metal. It's like a 1/4 to 1/2 inch solid piece of steel. Here are some pictures of some of the predrilled holes that bolt in the seat belt buckles that I need to recreate.

    hmmm....thats a thought. I think you have a point. I guess the only way to know is just start drilling and see how thin the metal is.
