WOHO! I get a new engine

We, I BLEW my engine Thursday, LITERALY, I have a 4 inch hole in the side of my engine now. The car is sitting in a parking lot in Needles, CA... Waiting to get to Kingman AZ's Toyota dealership so that I could have a VVT-i installed next week :-D. Thank you engine... and err thank you piston rod for coming through my engine... I'll upload a pic tonight that you can kinda sorta see the hole in the engine.

Woho next summer a MAJOR $6k+ investment for a super fast, good looking Rolla...

well I can't get $$ for it, its either replace it of get rid of the car and they'll pay off the loan. But they did say I should be able to upgrade to a VVT-i.

The check over i got looks like the car had been run without oil in the past, I've gotten 2 oil changes since I bought it this past Feb. One when I got it and one 3 weeks ago. So what I'm figuring either the dealer or previous owner ran it a long time w/o oil. I'm gonna go back to the dealer next week (not this week because I'm not in Cali, I'm in MI) and complain...

The $6k is after a $10k bike, a $1k dirt bike, a $1500 Banshee (its nice, don't tell me somethings gotta be wrong w/ it), and payin off the car loan to own it, and then getting a loan for a new Chevy Colorado, I'll get into more mods on the Rolla. I want tha SF Turbo kit First off.

    Anyways:

Long awaited reply... $1100 for the repair, I got an engine with about 90 miles on it. The engine blew under "normal load" at about 85mph on the I40 near Needles CA. Since, I've realized the engine was shit... I ended up going to court with the dealership, and got the money back for the new engine (thats all I asked for). I took good care of that baby, and it still blew.

This new engine has about 40k miles on it now, and still runs like a dream.
