    Winter Projector Project

I've located a set of 98-00 projector headlights to meet my needs. I can always convert my H4 50W HID unit to H7 bulbs and simply plug and play or I can retrofit some real projectors in place of the halogen projectors. Another option is to just locate an H4 projector housing(very impossible atm) or H7 projector housing, combined with real projector lenses to retrofit into my current black housing headlights. Or should I just leave it be?

Imagine the projector units with the black corners. I'll be using yellow bulbs in the inner high beams. :D

I voted to just leave it as is. Halogen projectors are not designed for HID bulbs, you might as well just leave it as is because you won't see any improvement in focused light disbursement with a proper cutoff unless you use real HID projectors.

If I do get the projector headlights, I will be retrofitting real OEM HID projectors in place of the halogen projector. :D

You could always retrofit HID projectors into your black housings. I think that would be the best option. But I never like how a projector look in a single beam headlight housing.. one reason didn't bother fiddleing with my JDM H4 headlights.

Exactly. Projectors look weird in a single beam headlight housing. I'd rather have separate high beams.

Decided to retain the black single beams and look for potential OEM projector donors for a retrofit. :D Thanks guys.

Woof. It's got ricy written all over it. Those look super tacky. Too much chrome for me. LOL

Anyone know what size bulbs those projector lights take? I got a response from the distributor saying they are H4, but that seems like a lie since there are two lenses per headlight. H4 is dual beam...
