This is my dyno graphic before(182hp 6-7psi). I guess my car have 200hp now(8.5psi).
    I use G-tech pro and get 0-60mhp 7.0 sec at 8.5psi.

Hothbl, did you upgrade your transmission? (tranny cooler, torque converter, etc) How is it holding? I'm guessing the 5-speed should hold the power the same if not better.

I only add transmission oil cooler with fan. I know the 5-speed is better than my AT 4-speed.
But 5-speed transmission is very expensive in Taiwan and I want to have a convenient car.
This is the reason for why I not change it to 5-speed or 6-speed.

    Update 11-15-05

    Hello All,

I received some pics from the test mule. They are huge, like 100megs worth... I will trim them down and post them up hopefully by the end of this week...

    Stay Tuned!

    Jesse,

I have a 02 corolla and is interested in getting a kit. I see that your manual is for a 01-05, however, my car does not look like what you have on the front of the manual. Will that make a difference. Does anybody have an opinion on this?

That is a good question... Let me double check with the manufacturer. If the kit works on both bodystyles and all 1ZZ-FE engine's then it should work all the way back to 00.

Let me see if they are basing the kit off of the engine or the bodystyle?

    Update: 11-30-05

I had a guy that couldn't wait for results get the kit for his 04 CE Corolla. He said the Turbo/Manifold and intercooler piping fitment was an issue. But all together the install cost $1000. So all in all it might have cost $200 - $350 for the shop to make the changes needed for the kit to fit. I am trying to get pics and a more detailed answer.

I am still waiting on the customer with the 02. Hopefully this will be more of a bolt in situation.

Future plans are to work with both customers to get the info to TSI and their fabricator so that they can work these problems out and get us a better kit.

    Stay tuned.

We started to install this kit yesterday and ran into some fitment issues with the downpipe, manifold and turbine on a 2001 Corolla. I'm working with Jesse at turbokits.com right now to resolve the issues. I'll keep you posted.

Once again, you are the man. You continue to work on this kit to make it fit and come back with great explanations and pics. I thank you and the whole Corolla community should thank you. AS your hard work will def benefit everyone!

I will get your reimbursement for the DP no problem :)
