its a common practice among online store. it's easier to just upload a stock photo than to take picture of every design/application

Hhmmm... I wonder if that would work, I've never even seen it nor is it ever listed on other sites. I just ordered this one for myself:
    http://www.ajusa.com/details/index/0/0/10807/KNF 57-0594

I had a customer swear by it, he ordered a few of them for his Camry's and I've been wanting to try it out. It comes with the pipe to fit the MAF sensor, but mainly, I'm hoping the flexible tube will be able to extend and allow another tube to make a CAI. Hoping to squeeze out whatever power/mpg I can from this beater.

I'll take pics of the install when I get chance and install it later this week. I'm just worried about damaging the MAF sensor when I move the tube around. should be fun as I'm installing that and going with Bilstein for my suspension on stock springs though.

Go CAI man, I had the Injen intake on my 02 and I regretted it, it sucked hot air right off the exhaust.

If I'm correct, the typhoon version of the air intake with heat shield is only for NON-US models so it should not work our corollas.

    2001 TOYOTA Corolla 1.8L L4 F/I - Non-US Automotive Typhoon Kit (SR) 69-8751TP

so excited... my kit came today! the tubing is pretty cool, it flexes but stays in place... I'm going to contact K&N and see if they sell just the tubing alone and maybe i can extend it to make a CAI, only problem would be the MAF sensor and extending that cable cause I think it has to be right where the filter cone connects, not just anywhere on the intake tube.

Still gonna suck hot air man. I was deciding on what intake to buy for my Civic and I was looking at the Typhoon but decided to go with a CAI and am glad, my intake temps are low

I don't think the MAF has to be right behind the filter. I think it has more to do with the distance of the MAF from the throttle body.

Alright, due to a ridiculously busy week and long setback, after work... gonna install the K&N intake, Bilstein Struts, and replace all my mounts and boots with KYB! I'll get some pictures of the intakes install.

When I have more time, I'll post some pics of my EL prototypes CAI.
IMHO, best intake there is for 8th gens. In looks, sound, and performance.
