Most people have a lot of misconceptions about the vette. You're absolutely right. The mpg isn't that bad and there's lots of room. If you do end up getting one, I'm going to be really jealous. :)

This is why I went on two wheels. I can smoke pretty much anyone on a straight line and should be a good competitor on a road course as well.

Not to mention getting my daily dose of adrenaline.

I mean that the vette wasn't roomy in the sense of cargo area. You can barely fit a backpack in the trunk. lol my uncle has 2 so I know that they have good leg room but no cargo area. I know they get decent mileage on the highway but that's cus they cruise at 70mph at like 1500rpm. Get it on some city roads and your down to 15mpg. You can't really go by highway mileage with any car cus there aren't many people that do just highway. Personally, with my daily commute, I'd be gettin around 18-19 with the vette. Not practical what so ever. Just a chick magnet.

Vette isn't meant to be hauling anything around.

It hauls the driver and passenger around quite nicely though. :)
