Too bad that one is 98 with ugly front end and no VVTi.

I actually like the 98-00 front better than the 01-02. :) And the non-vvti doesn't affect power or emissions by much. Plus non-vvti can utilize aftermarket cams, which the vvti 1ZZFEs can't do. hehe

btw, be careful with 00-02 Corollas. Toyota went cheap after they switched to vvti 1ZZFEs and used undersized pistons with oversized rings. They have a tendency to stick and burn, causing you to burn oil. Check for oil consumption before you buy.

Yeah totally. Don't think too long, I think it might be gone already. Thats a steal for what its worth.

Whats cams are available at the moment for the 1ZZ non-vvti? 272 / 284?

I'm not really sure. I know you can get a nice set from Monkey Wrench Racing.

Any recommendations for a place to paint my grille? I'm waiting for my 05+ Altis S Grille to come in the mail. I'd prefer to paint it white rather than leaving it black.

This is the one I ordered:

If you have the cash, then yeah have it painted professionally. Otherwise I think you could paint yours on your own. I believe body shops would charge around the region of $100 for it, if you did it yourself it might be around $45 (paint, primer etc..). I have some thick build clearcoat if you need it to finish it off.

Important thing is to find a fairly wind free day with strong sunlight. I might be painting up my wing mirrors in the next couple of weeks, let me know if you wanna do it together.

Mm.. ebay is your best bet. Clears were never from Toyota, only the depo lenses were available. Around $17usd + shipping i believe.

if i were u kenny, if you can afford the gas for the v6 and maintenance - keep the camry. bigger, safer, more powerful and faster car than any stock corolla out there.
you can also use it to blow away any stock civic out there - just dont pick on the new Si's. :D:D

    alright man.

the job is basically in-house tech support and support for clients with hardware/software problems. it's an insurance company where my buddy works (broadway & arbutus).

    ******************************************************

ok, i need suggestions for places to go for staff/family picnic.
anyone know good places to go?
i'm trying to stay away from downtown area - stanley park, kits, west end.
i want some place not too far, good view and with lots of parking. i came up with peace arch park, maybe garry point park in rmd. and maybe deer lake

Hahah.. hey Daniel how you doing?! Been a while. Since Ming is back, when will you be back here?! Anyways we'll be meeting Ming sometime next week I believe. Or i know I am for sure. Date time not set as yet.

Jeff: I think another alternative is at Anmore park in Port Moody. Got a nice spot for the kids to play. Although parking is a problem. What about by River road and no.1? That area's real nice during high tide.
