With all due respect, I appreciate what you are doing to develop our turbo kits. I am just wondering if upgrades would be available. If so, I would like to purchase an upgraded one when it is ready. If not, I'll get what you have.

    Looking forward to it.

well well well big man, i'm just trying to point out info for those fortunate enough to have the money and unfortunate enough to not have the knowledge. You can make a uber high quality $2000 turbo kit yourself, but most people on this board dont have the know how or time. I would advise to stay away from $2000 hack job turbo kits

Phillip, you ask a lot of good questions and I understand where you're coming from. But you also have to understand that I have to market a kit that will actually sell.

For example, when I first started talking about selling performance upgrades, everyone was clamoring for a rear brake conversion. So I developed one, one person bought one, and that was it. The other one I have in stock is collecting dust in my shop right now because out of those 20-some-odd people who demanded one, no one has coughed up the cash.

So when we start talking about a $3000 turbo kit instead of a $500 rear disc brake upgrade, you can bet that if the price starts going up then NO ONE will buy a kit, and that leaves me in a bad spot. I'm one person with a pretty middle-class job and a house and a wife and car payments and all kinds of crap to deal with, not a big company with all kinds of capital to invest in stock that can sit around for a year and half waiting for someone to buy it!

On the other hand, if you have some specific ideas about how you want YOUR kit, that's no problem at all, I'm more than happy to build CUSTOM KITS for everyone on this board, as long as you don't mind paying a little more for time and of course the upgraded parts.

Now the rest of you keep it civil, or I'm gonna hafta break out my caps lock kung fu, and you KNOW you don't want that!

As far as what the stock auto tranny will deal with, I know a few people running turbos on their stock autos with no problem. Of course the more you push it the more wear will happen.

And yes, I'm really in Vermont.

well I'm just getting a High stall torque converter, suppose to work well with the boost curve, in other words it should handle the extra power......stall was raised by 400rpm....i believe....

    03 corolla

Will this work on an 03 Corolla? What about Fuel managment? are there any fuel managment or detonation issues with a turbo system on the 03 model? What level of boost will the 1zzfe take in safe proportion and still stay in one piece?

Do you fabricate a custom header with the turbo mount as part of this kit?

    Terry.

I will be coming out with a kit for the '03 but that will be some time, next year most likely. Fuel management will be done with Greddy eManage, and there will be no detonation issues. The kit will run around 6-8 psi. <br />

    Yes.
