    turbo????

im thinking of tuboing my corolla, with a t28 off a det and a cast iron manifold, small top mount intercooler, all I need is where to get injectors, and away to tuned everything, all on a budget
    a t28 off a det $400
    a manifold $400
    intercooler $200
    fuel pump $120
    custom exhaust $350
    greedy bov free (have one)
    injectors $???
ecu or something to tuned it $???

I dont want crazy power just maybe if i cold hit 180hp on 6-7 pounds of boost if is possible on a 00 corolla automatic :superconf

sounds feasible 6psi with no IC and maybe just fuel managing + pump with stock injectors...

6-8psi is safe and you should be able to use your stock injector on low psi and for tuning go either greddy blue or the greddy ultimate.

I think 6-8 psi will definitely put you closer to the 200whp mark for sure lol...

could you possible use a FMU? I have a friend who runs one on his turbo setup in his 5.0 automatic mustang with no problems. Just watches his oil, boost, and has a wideband air fuel ratio. Would injectors from a celica work or does that have the same cc's?

If you're trying to gain horsepower on the cheap, don't do it. Unless you are willing to do it the right way with good parts, you will have many problems.

I think im using decent parts like garett t28 or t25 and greedy bov and power interprice injectors there are no cheap ebay parts there but thanks for the advice, im also thinking of using the t25 bb of my sentra and upgrade to a gt30 for my race car and the t25 for the corolla

    You should look into it.
Centrifugal Superchargers require little addition parts for a basic install and can be cramped into relatively small spaces.
    1.) Pulley
    2.) Supercharger belt drive
    3.) 255lph fuel pump
    4.) Engine Management
    5.) Custom intake pipes
    6.) Oil drain hoses
7.) Modified oil pan OR you can modify the one you have.
8.) Need to modify your engine's oiling system so the supercharger gets oil and drains
out, into the modified oil pan.
9.) Leave your fuel system in return-less form because it will increase pressure on the
    delivery side.
10.) You do not NEED to add a bypass, but should just to be safe.

hmmm, isn't psi psi? regardless of the size of the turbo LOL? I think 2 psi from that thing would be the same as from a small turbo. Maybe 200 psi though...

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but the 1zz couldn't even displace enough air to move the turbine a millimeter.

I think you need to read up vortechsuperchargers.com and get knowledgeable. There is a difference between a zoomed in picture and actual size F.Y.I.
