look at that man! he's at 150whp... he will get more (maybe :D ) than 200whp if he uses 7-8psi

Yeah, the gain is silly. Looking back on my notes, vortex got 237WHP at 8psi.

where does this '150whp' figure keep coming from? have i overlooked a previous post?

50% increase @5psi on that small turbo? yeah right

also, what are the torque figures and how do the hp curves look? to be honest, who cares if you're making 236whp at one moment if you have turbo lag & can't even produce 120wtq down low.....

also..... the tranny isn't slipping (if it is, it wouldn't be driving... it would be popping out of gear due to grinded gears), it's the clutch...... the transmission is good to around 200whp as long as you don't do hard launches. Just mill the flywheel to spec (measure it... i'm sure it's a 212mm) and get a good clutch from a 4ag setup....

we will just have to see what happens in the future. Going will 360cc injectors, new fuel rail, wiseco pistons and eagle h-beam rods, probably another $2k, plus oem bearing set...and a donated 5 speed swap(thanks joe), and we will see what kind of power I will be at!

Also the small turbo is the perfect size for the motor. Tons of airflow that I have not even reached yet. Yeah 150whp is a small number, but look at it this was, I have 162,000miles on the motor and I am still running on my 192cc stock injectors and fuel rail. Not to mention the emanage, which is not the best piggy back in the world. If I had the money I would have went with the motec m400. The tranny you are right is good for 200whp, however, that is only if you drive it so that the gears in the tranny can have time to grip and be used properly. When I slam the gas in drive(auto), when I get to the end of the gear, I just sit there and red line, then when I take my foot off the gas a little, it finally shifts. My tranny might just be worn out, or I might be a horrible driver. All I know is that I decided to stop crying and moaning about getting a turbo and ACTUALLY did it. Yeah, it was not the best gain in the world for the corolla, but heck man, if performance were that easy to optain for the corolla, do you really even think these message boards would exist. I dont have all the answers, I just have experience through trial and error, because unlike hondas, there are no vast resources for turbo'ed corollas out there, and if there are, please show me the way....because I have a hug amout of questions to ask this orical.

With that said, anyone who has any ideas on what I can do to tweak more power out of my motor, please let me know. Eric, the base line for a 94 corolla is 105hp to the flywheel, so that's about 80+/-hp to the wheels. Before I went turbo, I was sitting at 93.4 hp to the wheels with major bolt ons. Ok, im done complaining, somebody else can post.

if you go with the gze 365cc/min injectors then you will also need the factory toyota resistor pack. all the FE injectors i've seen are high ohm (at least for 4/7a motors) and the gze injectors are low ohm.

however, when you do go with these injectors, if you have your current map set with your 190cc/min, then you WILL have to completely redo your maps in emanage.

i would also suggest getting a wideband o2..... i was going to suggest an adjustable FPR but i believe you have the old SARD that i sold you?

you've done most of the hard work by getting the difficult/expensive parts to find setup in your car. the rest is just fuel management, boost controller/wastegate, and possible engine rebuild parts
