    i got ur message, the adminastration on this board just kinda...fell off the face of the earth. heck, i havnt even heard from hooolala in ages.<br />

    as for the political threads, thats kinda normal. elections were here and pple talk politics, its everywhere, even at work. but i do agree that some comments got waaaay out of hand. as for these certain members, im not on the track to go banning people unless they are bein so crude. bladder_master is on other boards, i havnt heard from cpat in a while, but im still checkin on stuff.<br />

    i get the occasional email sayin someone is acting up, and i just usually delete a post or 2, or even the whole thread.<br />

    Yeah.. I noticed that too, but I dont really care, Im used to it so to me, let them do w/e keeps the board alive. But its up to you guys, get a new mod or something to straighten things up.

    ok, I do apologize to EVERYONE on this board. I've been dealing with some really, really, personal stuff and I haven't had a whole lot of time to mod on here. I've actually been thinking about stepping back, but I will try a little bit harder to be on here a little bit more.

    As far as the political threads on here....there was a poll when they started on here as to whether THE MEMBERS wanted them off of here, combined, or left alone. The vote was for them to be left alone....and that they were. If anyone wanted otherwise, they should have spoken up. After all, it's the members who make this board what it is.

    And there's a button on these threads....that button says, "report this post". SO PLEASE DO SO.
    If you see someone being a jackass or whatever...LET ME KNOW PLEASE.

    Yeah, i think the political posts should stay, but read lilbeastie's posts in the Kerry thread, and &quot;who did you vote for today&quot; thread. Totally uncalled for...its one thing to voice your opinion, but to be a fuckhead about it is another.

    Take my word for what you want since I am just a 'n00b' but I am a moderator on another site and if you don't want people doing all this, suspensions and bans have to be in order. That is the only way to keep them in line. Sad but true. It's not a popularity contest, so don't be scared that you will upset the users of this forum. That is why I love being an evil mod :)

    Chris, Do you have some Admin capabilities?

    I think there needs to be a person who can do some of the Admin things here more often than a moderator. Theres some things only an admin can do and I never see admins around much anymore.

    what is the purpose of seeing the banned users in the track forum? Also, if this site looks dow on street racing, why not remove or lock those threads and start new rules?

    The forum itself doesnt look down on street racing....just some members.

    And i see nothing wrong with listing banned members...will prove a point.

    the reason I deleted the thread on street racing is that is was racing IN TRAFFIC, putting innocent lives at risk.

    we will not hesitate to put a ban on members who delibratly (sp?) break the rules!!!

    some people think its a game, and it just ends up stirring up shit.

    now, if i can just find a way to ban the users IP address...

    When I was super mod I had access.....this version of the board may be different though.

    I think with vBulletin a supermod is a mod of all categorys and a Mod is assigned a specific category(s)

    Unless I'm a total idiot (a possibility, lol) then I'm not seeing this control panel. I can get into the admin panel, but I can only ban screen names, not IP addys, and I can't change any information in profiles and stuff.
