I bet it was just kids. Plus, emblems are relatively easy to steal. To tell you the truth, me and my friend used to steal GTS badges off of Celicas back in freshman year of college. You get all fingers of both hands under the badge on top and pull down in one swift motion. Yeah, we were stupid morons. But anyways, once you have the spoiler on with 3M double sided industrial tape, that thing is not going anywhere. It takes a good 30 minutes at least to get off, if you're not frustrated beyond belief. You're better off stealing the entire trunk than peeling that spoiler off. I'm already cringing at the thought of removing it to make a mold during the summer. :(

In fact, if you're still worried, you can attach the spoiler with epoxy instead of double tape. Of course, it will be permanent. And it will NOT be going anywhere. WRX owners use epoxy to install spoilers quite often.

i never thought my first real mod would be a TRD spoiler = ). Steelie rims and debadging don't count. I am paranoid it might get stolen now, and have to get it screwed on pronto. I am going tomorrow after school to see a body shop.

They gave me the wrong skrews, after reassuring me they fit, at the toyota dealer. BUNCH OF ASSES can't stand those ppl there.

There's no need to worry. It's a pain in the ass to take off and not many people care about modifying a Corolla anyways. We're under the radar. Car thieves don't even give the Corolla a second glance.

It's pretty hard to get the correct shape down. I'm doubtful I can get it right.

It won't be near 100. I would think it would be double. The original TRD lip spoiler was around 300-400.

i know this is a post revival. but i was contemplating making fiberglass ones so i can mold it to my 7th gen. i have an 8th gen one NIB and i can tell you that it won't fit. if i make a mold and start popping them out, would people still be interested in fiberglass replicas? if i get some time i might be able to pop them out. we'll see though.

well i still have to figure out if it's worth my time or not. like i said i have one BNIB still has the foam wrapping on it. it's a genuine TRD piece. i know it's an old post so if there's still interest i'll look into it. might even be able to do them in plastic. shipping i'm not sure. i'm in hawaii so gonna have to see first.
