it actually works great! I just took it out for several passes. The A/f ratio stays in the 11.5 area until 5.5-6.2k rpm creeps up to 12.3:1 which isn't too bad. Power is a great increase! I'd expect 40ish hp an 30ft lbs.

Damn, nice work Irvin, you are a G! I'm going to butcher the shit out of mine compared to yours, I'm sure.

I have heard that when dyno tuning the torque stops increasing as you add fuel to between 12.0:1 or 12.5:1, suggesting optimal AFR for this engine. I have not seen this with my own eyes so take that with a grain of salt. I'm not saying 11.5:1 is too rich, but that you are definitely within known limits when you lean out towards redline.

Luckily for me, I have both a stock and aftermarket MK3 radiator at my disposal due to having too many Supras, lol.

Also, what is the total volume of your cooling system now with that rad?

Yeah the TRD ecu is tuned to run pig rich so it doesn't lean out and blow motors. This is for warranty reasons.
I'm not too sure about the A/f ratio and torque. All I know is anything more than 12.5 on a boosted engine is not
    that great.

I'll take it to the Dyno one of these days. My buddy has a dyno but it's not a Dynojet. So, for comparison reasons
I'd rather take it to a shop that has one.

As far as the cooling system capacity. I didn't calculate it. All I know is that I gained a bit using the Supra radiator
since it's a bit thicker but about the same dimensions as the stock Corolla.

You can use this kit on a non vvti engine. However, you WILL need somekind of aftermarket tuning ECu.
The TRD ecu is tuned for a vvti engine. I was lucky to get it to work fine with the 8th gen ecu. But I Can't
guarantee the same for a non vvti.

Irvin have you tried the stock hood ? also for us non vvt-i we can run the s/c without the trd ecu and a emanage instead

Stock hood won't work. Needs at least 1 1/2 inch more of clearance .
The emanage will be better for both vvti and non vvti. Custom tune for specific engine will ALWAYS be better

I'd like to know how you're gonna pass smog with that, do you have the papers showing it's a legal OEM option for Cali?

Mine came with a carb sticker.... Guessing it's only for 03-04 Corollas if they look it up? Are you gonna get a 03-04 engine bar'd then run the super?

Say, You wouldn't mind me borrowing that CARB sticker would ya???? lol

Yup. I need to get a copy of that CARB sticker but no luck. You can use that to BAR it as a 2000-2003 Celica.
Also, You'd probably want to get either an AEM or Injen cold air for a Celica to get rid of the VSV inside the
Celica airbox. Then just wire up a Celica ECU and take it to get REF'd as a Celica engine. They can put the
supercharger on the BAR Label they put on your car
