    My car was burning a quart every 150 miles:eek:, bought the revised 1zz pistons and rings + new bearings, and i haven't lost any oil. Well maybe a little but i drive it pretty hard pretty often:cool:.

    Rich burning is indeed black. Oil burning will have a tint of blue in the black smoke. White is coolant aka gasket leak.

    Its really a love hate thing, some days i love it and some days i just want it to be a little quiet. and also, Make sure you call toyota to get the papers for the exhaust !!!! Trust me that paper has saved me 2 times so far !

    The nice thing about the TRD exhaust. Is that you can get a 50 state Certificate saying it meets the legal DB level.
    It helps greatly if a cop pulls you over.
