Besides. You already got a good hood to use for the Supercharger. Just trim the vent back a few inches like you said

Honestly. The supercharger install is like replacing your intake manifold with a few little things to do. It's really simple. The most time consuming part is getting the wiring prepared

thats what is my concern lol... is the wires... i suppose if i have the diagrams and know what needs to go where that would help. i didnt see it in this thread so i will have to look into it more.

It also depends on how you want to run it. 8th gen ecu with TRD ecu and water injection.
Or 9th gen ecu and the TRD ecu will plug right in.

I don't know how well you are versed in wiring?

You gotta use the 9th gen corolla ecu for the best Stockish setup. The 8th gen ecu makes more power but that's because it runs leaner with it. Leaner mixture = more power. BUTTT. Leaner mixture = more combustion temps which is bad.

    So again.

first stock setup= 9th gen ecu with trd ecu
Another route= 8th gen ecu with trd ecu PLUS water injection

Even a 9th gen ecu setup will benefit greatly from water injection

what is your email. I got them all

so lets just go with i add a ram intake, and is there an ecu that is better than the stock 8th gen or is the stock one the best route?
    Added: Jan 3, 2013 9:33 PM
cause for now till i get it all set up i wanna start driving it cause i dont like my cars to sit... what will be a cheaper tune to get more torque?

ECU depends on what intake manifold you have. If you want torque. Save and get a supercharger. There is nothing you can do to the 1zz that will satisfy your thirst for torque.

Irvin, do you know anything about CT-e Superchargers? Or do you only specialize in TRD ones?

What about them? If I don't know I'll learn fast

Well intake, ported header, exhaust, manifold and ecu will make a good difference. Haven't actually measured with any dyno tests.
