I think it's worth it too.
I don't drive fast, no autoX or racing. But I like to take corners.
It's fun to see that some one smoke you on straight road and then you caugh up in the corner. :D
If you are willing to spend $160 for TRD strut bar, then I would say just put $100 more and get the swaybar at your door. :)

thats alot of money on suspension if i do that. new springs, new struts, strut bar and sway bar(s)...

my car already handles good but with that amount of money i better beat plenty of cars on corners.... thats like 600-700 on suspension

the suspension upgrades are definitely worth it. don't forget the tires, they'll make a big difference too. you'll want to have tires that will be able to handle the lateral forces when taking the curves, especially with an upgraded suspension system.

sway bars are not the same as a strut BRACE. sway bars go under the car, ur strut brace will go right under ur hood. i have the trd strut brace, and i noticed a difference. i found mine for 105 just off of some dealership site. they are definitly out there for cheaper than 180 (and at reputable retailers...not some ebay kid). if u just dont ur corolla to handle like absolute crap and ur not interested in insane handling get the trd lowering springs w. the strut brace. u notice a little with the brace, and a LOT with the springs. i love my trd springs. o ya...trd is just cooler than generic :p but its also more $ :(

did anyone try to step on the TRD strut bar in the center while it was on the ground to see if it bends?

if you are worried about scratching the bar just put towels under the bar.

if so, post up how much you weigh and how much it bent (did it touch the ground?)

i know generic ones like mine bend like crazy.
