as a former truck owner and car enthusiast...

if youre looking for a performance sport truck ...

take a look at the lightning as an alternative to the x runner... i owned an L and have driven a blown xrunner...

much much more ooomph out of the ford... but similar looks...

just something to loo at is all ...

that and you dont need to learn how to drive a stick ... all lightnings are auto... no option on tranny

If big free bies were a reality in this life, I will take this X Runner truck over any Ford, GMC or Dodge in the same class even if they offered me two of my choice.

i'm sorry, but i'd take toyota's reliability factor over fords reliability anyday..especially in a truck..

Ive heard a lot of the new "performance" trucks have been going in to the dealers with twisted chassis. sad...but good torque.

It would be far less boring than any of the Fords, GMs and Dodges in it's class.

sorry, Matt...i'm just not a fan of Toyota trucks. when it comes to trucks i'm a ford girl at heart. i'll admit i like the Colorado, but that's probably the only chevy truck i'd own right now. the others are WAY too big for me.
