not 100% sure yet. but it broke down and will not turn on. a couple of people that listened to the engine noise before it died said it was a piston. when i get a chance to open the head i will find out. but right before it died the engine sounded like it was going to blow up!

Should of diagnosed the problem before you decided it was safe enough to drive. I personally wouldent drive if the engine sounds like its going to blow up.

It didn't sound like It was going to blow up. It only made a ticking sound. It was only after the car stalled at a red light. I pulled right into a gas station. And when It started up one last time and that's when it sounded like it was going to blow. So I drove it for only two weeks with the ticking noise. then on the last day is when it sounded really bad. And I was trying to find a mechanic for cheap who would look at it. I was going to take it to toyota but they wanted $100 per hour. That's a little too much.

Well trying to go cheap is going to result in you having to get a new engine now perhaps.

did u have oil in ur car cuz that could of been it if urs was leaking at the chain tensioner like mine is ur motor was problably losing oil and it just couldnt lube any of the parts. so something broke. but im still convinsted the ticking was from the pully tensioner something else might of gone wrong with the motor.

I wasn't trying to go cheap. Just going with what I could afford. And more than 2 mechanics said it wasn't the tensioner
