Must be because they are worried about gaining weight. But actually, sacarin, or something that replaces the sugar, stimulates your body to store fat. So, you won’t gain weight from diet coke itself, but you’re stimulating your body to store fat. Drinking diet coke is like telling your body to store more fat from all the other food you eat.
