spring diameter

    spring diameter

    are 8th gen springs wider or narrower then 7 thgen springs as in from outer edge to outer edge

    7th and 8th gen have the same suspension. So I dont think so. But I think the spring rates are different. I put lowering springs for a 7th gen on my 8th gen and the front didnt lower at all. I think its because the 8th gen has an aluminum engine block which is lighter than the cast iron block of the 7th gen.

    No difference. They both have the same chassis. Spring rates and constants won't matter if you get a coilover setup. :)

    its just because the springs ive got dont fit my struts there to wide so i thought maybe i got sent 8th gen springs or my car has another models strut it the fronts that dont add up

    My guess is a manufacturing defect.
