Though I wouldn't consider it a NPF, a 300+ mile drive in a car in a day can say a lot for its reliability. Especially one on original TB/WP. And which forum member lives in Maryland? That's who I'm seeing tomorrow. There's only 7 regular posters here lol thought that easy.

Yes it was easy, and it was not an NPF, but I was a dick. Sorry.

And the :scared: was for the easy MD forum member deduction.

And , I agree. It's always a little bit hairy when you take a car on a roadtrip for the first time. It's like putting your money where your mouth is.

    NPF redacted.
I'm beginning to think Señor Dub is more of a boss than James, lately.

Since things have happened since my last update:

I installed a HIC roof visor and I really like it. Takes away the plane jane rear end and puts shade on the rear seats.

Also installed my last bit of parts I had left. T belt, water pump, cam/crank, and dizzy oil seals, thermostat and a few More o rings here and there. NELOC Guys held a wrench meet in central jersey so they lent me a hand.

    All done

A lot of tricks were used to get this job done. Quite a good day indeed.

I don't regret the decision but I miss the punch the Avalon had. The 2JZ is quite gutless. Couple that with a terrible diff ratio and this thing eats gas at an alarming rate and is very slow. NEED TURBO.

The N/A 2JZ doesn't do it for me. I don't like the sound that much, and everything else listed before. Boost fixes all of those. Minus the fuel economy. With a turbo I won't give a shit.

You. I rode in a IS (for the first time btw) this past weekend. So small...... I felt cramped and I'm not big as you know.

I like the smaller car feel, fits more snug and at home, not as much useless space around me lol
