Sick of so much BORING (er, nascar) on the Speed channel?

    And yeah, for someone that hasnt watched much Nascar, of course they wont get it. Its like many other sports....soccer, baseball, golf, etc. Its not just the sport...its the storylines behind the players, the drama, the rivalries, etc.
    I cant stand to watch Basketball, or golf......I used to hate tennis, but enjoy that now.

    yup yup...I don't like golf....or any sports really...just always preffered cars...I did play baseball for awhile...BUT to each his own...so hopefully speed will realize their wide fan base and adjust the programming to match...so we can all love speed channel...vision...whatever it is now

    But the fact of the matter is that they have huge contracts with Nascar, and they make majority of their dough from Nascar, so Nascar it is.

    They showed Two Guy's Garage the other day. They had a Focus project and all they basically did was rice it out. They installed CF mirrors, a bodykit, painted the headlight and taillight covers, and painted the calipers yellow. It looked fucking hideous after they were done.

    I think they should do some real buildups, like common engine swaps, or installing coilovers or headers.... things REAL enthusiasts are interested in. I understand they have to make money, but it seems to be at the expense of their car enthusiast soul.
