Thats actually completely untrue, as there are MANY differences b/t the N/A and TT. I think I touched on most of them in the other Supra thread.

where do you live? If it snows there and the Supra will be your only car then dont get it. If you have a TT Supra its almost required IMO that you have a winter beater. As far as price, your original post seems fishy to me. $18K for a 93.5 w/ 40-60K miles is VERY low, unless its an N/A. Not only that its unusual to even find a 93.5 with so few miles. A 93.5 TT with over 100K miles will sell for more than that. Its either a scam, abused to shit, or an old fart with no idea how much these cars are actually worth.

no matter what you do, if you get the supra, use it as a weekend car. I own a mk3 supra and believe me, they are very tempermental. my supra's been down for about 6 months cuz she got pissed and bent a rod. now the rod is snapped and I'm pissed at the car. Fun cars indeed, just be careful with it. ask alot of questions about the one your looking at cuz it WILL suck if you end up buying one that runs good when you take it home and 2 months later it breaks down. MK3 or MK4, they both act the same.

I do like the older MR2's. I'll have to think about that one :)

only thing is the 2 is a 2 seater with almost no storage space compared to the Supra. I had a similar car (Pontiac Fiero) and it was a pain in the ass sometimes. Not being able to bring friends, get groceries etc.

Thats true, but I heard that supra seats can't hold people in the back either because there is like zero room. They are almost there just for insurance reasons :)
