I'll head it off, one night I heard some scritching/scratching noises, and discovered this sucker at 3am behind my dresser.

sddynamix - those crickets are crazy...my one ex used to have them all over his basement. they'll jump INTO your face just to get you to leave them alone. they had his dog pretty well trained to leave them alone.

Thanks to a little "prank" my friends were playing on me I had a little encounter with my cousin's tarantula (size of a whole hand) that they put in my bed but for their surprise I didn't run out like a pussy like they expected me to on the other hand I walked with the spider on my shoulder out the room hehehe suckers!!!. I ain't scared of no rats or bugs or anything I used to live in the amazon back in my home country so I'm used to all those really dangerous bugs and shit. I used to own a tarantula and like 4 snakes too that NEVER bit me and I played with them everyday believe it or not.

Nothing can be as bad as those "huge shreaking spiders" that people talk about in afganistan/iraq. I read on the old forum that they dont like sunlight and will even crawl into your shadow.

I think I seen a pic at the old vvti.net. If i were to encounter one in real life i think i would probably stay about as far away from it. Heres the pic: (its actually two of em biting each other, i guess)
    they are called camel spiders

but see its' funny cause most people out there think that the bigger the size the deadliest it is but that is not true one of the world dealdliest spiders is no more than like 2 inches man and only a poke from that thing and you're instantly dropped and dead within seconds!!! check it out.
