I installed my favorite exhaust today Seems like the catback is less bassy than the old axleback, I was expecting the new setup to be louder. Oh well, it does have the increased badass sound I wanted. I took the same videos as before, that will be up shortly.

And I raised the car as much as safely possible... 8 full turns of the coilovers. I think I like it actually. My hydraulic jack fits under the sides, the wheel spacers fit with no rubbing (yes I put them back on today), and won't scrape, bottom out, etc. And I decreased the dampening from full stiff to half way.

Yes, it's got more of a flush look than the super slammed look. Now the height actually looks reasonable lol. Not as bad as I thought it would actually.

It was a great decision.

I went out and measured it, it's only 1/2-3/4 inches higher, and I can't raise it any more safely. But now I've got the front spacers on, so it looks better. And with the lip kit I just made, it looks better higher than it did with the old kit.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean... their default setting was 8 clicks away from full stiff. The backs still are, but I made the fronts full stiff when I lowered it a couple months back. I don't want to have them overdampened, so I'll try out the middle setting (30 settings total). We'll see. If it's too bouncy, back to stiff it goes.

How is it not safe to raise your car? First time I've heard that.

With the coilovers, the bottom mount threads onto the shock body, twisting it to raise and lower. If you raise it too much, the shock will "unscrew" out of the seat completely. The seat has some holes in it so that you can see the threads, you should not see empty space through that hole. I raised it until I saw the bottom of the threads.

Yeah.... well I was surprised at how "high" it can go, I was trying to raise it a bit more than this, but I think it came out perfect.

And the video I took today has the new height and wheel spacers

OK I got the second video ready. This one shows my "new" catback exhaust. Sounds almost the same, just less bassy but with more growl. You can also see (maybe) that I've raised the car 5/8" and put the front wheel spacers back on.

Be sure to bump up the quality for the best sound.

Why do you keep referring to it as "new"?

Yep, it's new to me, though definitely used. They stopped making these years ago.

Is it a bolt on specifically for your car, or a generic muffler?

It's a full catback this time (had to angle-grind the old bolts off the cat). I'll post some pics shortly.

I went for a drive today.... loving the exhaust! Sounds awesome. And the suspension feels so much better in the front, so I have to adjust the back to match. Now I can drive over potholes like a boss (like everyone else I suppose)
