That is the plan, right now there is a mesh, but I think I'll replace it with a fiberglass mat from the back, then Bondo the front so it doesn't crack.

Yeah that's what I was thinking.

Because it's all one piece, it matches the front, and the wire goes down there. If you look at your doors, you'll see the upper edge continuous down to the bottom.

3.0 because all that talk of 2.0 and now you've actually done it so your now 3.0, think of it like a pokemon, youve just evolved.

On another note... I'm watching the pokemon episodes from the beginning... I'm at the Johto season now.

But I evolved when I went from Corolla -> IS300

I never watched any of the Pokemon actually, although I did watch the first movie online a couple months ago just because I randomly found it.

What is your reasoning behind these LEDs around the window?
Also can you get me a job that pays close to what you make? I'll move over.

I put them on because I wanted to, and I like them. They were on sale for $100, I said WTH why not. At least they are behind the window tint.

    And no.

You can see in the pics, yeah they are really thin. They are similar to the ones I used in the Corolla, but these have 3-chip LEDs.

if the middle piece of the lip was eliminated i think it would have looked a billion times better....just leave the lower part of the lip so it can be one whole piece....

Yeah that does look better, but that upper section is the bumper itself, the underneath is supported by the upper. I've got my clean lip anyway. I was more referring to the side skirt & rear lip height is more what I'm going for.

And if I changed my color, I'd probably go with the newer IS350/IS-F blue.

    Today's Update! (warning, LEDs)

    1) I was surprised to find a box when I got up. Matching LED tail lights for the trunk. Finally.... these are rare and I haven't been able to find them before. The stock ones were all faded and ugly, plus the red color was a little lighter, not as deep as the outers. And they weren't LEDs of course, fail.

These things look great. They work in both bright and dim mode, unlike most of the LED units. These have a black weatherstripping around them, but I removed it and stuck it on closer to the back, just like stock, so it still keeps water out but you can't see it. Finally, they match perfectly!

And these are actually the same brightness on both sides lol (unlike the outers). And they are super bright for the brake light! I was surprised, these are brighter than the outer lights.

    2) I also worked on the head lights and fog lights... paint!

I spent a few hours carefully masking the parts I wanted to leave chrome, I figured it would make for a more custom look. There's no real distinction on the head light rings, so it was hard work.

Then I painted them black with this primer I found, I tested several colors and liked this one the best. It's completely flat of course, but it is not too dark. I wanted the lights to match the tires, and this was it.

A thing of beauty is a joy forever! It really came out perfectly.

Just some other random things also.

    3) I rebolted the engine damper to the engine, I noticed it had come off somehow. Fortunately, it was just stuck right underneath, so that was good.

    4) I put some old white LEDs in the city lights cause there was nothing there.

    5) I removed the black box behind the left tail light, it made it slightly brighter to match the right tail light a little better.

    6) I removed the light bulb in the gauges for the "rear brake light out" cause it was on with the new lights

    7) I put the regular bulb back in the "ETC Power" indicator, since the blue LED was broken.

    Productivity feels good! :)

When I feel like it, probably when it gets colder. I have to use Bondo, and Bondo hardens to quick for me when it's warm.
