Yea the carbon fiber doors, hood and trunk cut about 400 pounds for me. I'm cool with that.

Which is why I'm not doing it. It's also 1500 for the set. Could spend that money else where.

They are an advanced halogen technology that is basically just a noticeably brighter 55 watt bulb. The bulbs are 9012 (low beam) and 9011 (high beam) and are easily modified to fit 9006 and 9005 respectively.

Last set of pics before I leave on vacation for another week (where I'm likely to take yet more pics and get even more behind on this thread lol)

Next stop was the Grand Canyon. Drove through some "forests" on the way up, and pulled off on a random "road" to take some pics

    [IMG]IMG_4034-2 by gold94corolla, on Flickr

The Grand Canyon itself was very impressive and mind blowing lol

Then drove through the desert a long time and found a good road in the middle of nowhere to take some pics

After those pics, I drove down into Texas, straight southeast to the bottom of Louisiana. Didn't get any pics of my day in Texas for some reason, too busy enjoying the 75MPH speed limits on all the back roads lol.

But once I made it through Louisiana, I entered Mississippi and immediately headed south for the beach. Ended up right on the Gulf of Mexico!!! It was beautiful, but almost deserted, and obviously recovering from storms of years past.

It was a similar feeling when I saw the Pacific Ocean, came over this hill and there was the Gulf in front of me. Made it to all 3 coasts!!

Then started heading northeast through Alabama, mostly on backroads

[IMG]Lovely Country by gold94corolla, on Flickr

Ended up in Atlanta, Georgia to visit TheRetrofitSource, but Matt had left early for a wedding and extended weekend.

    [IMG]TheRetrofitSource by gold94corolla, on Flickr

Which sucked because I got stuck in the middle of Atlanta RIGHT during evening rush hour..... took forever to get out of that mess lol.

Continued northeast and stopped at the base of the Appalachian Mountains that night.

Pulled a Goku and drove right past your house! (well 2-3 hours west of your house)

But no, I didn't stop at cball's place either (which is funny, since his house is the only one I knew where it was before the trip)

Stopped at Milky's, Goku's, Hummer's, Irvin's, Press's.... went to James' house a few months ago and saw everyone else at the meet
