One of the more clever ones I've seen was OO6MYO6. It stymied me for a minute... "Oh oh six my oh six?" I mulled over that for a few moments when it hit me: "O! Captain, My Captain!" (In the Navy, the grade of rank O6 means "captain". I suppose I could have also accepted OO3MYO3, but that would have been a captain in the Army-- and the "O! Captain, My Captain!" is a poem by Walt Whitman about a ship returning from a long voyage.

I've thought about the whole personalized license plate thing for myself. Usually, I see a personalized plate and think that the money could have gone SOMEWHERE more important. That, and if you piss off another driver it's easier for him to report you ("Yeah, his plate said DUDEWTFon it!")

Pending some paperwork and whatnot, I may soon be sporting a police chaplain license plate.

Yea having a personalized can suck, espically if yours is your name. I got pulled once and the cop just goes Hi Nathan and than did his usual thing.
But having a different plate sets you apart even more and combine that with a modded car, you are completly different, thats why I likw mines

It's great because of what the mirror image spells. (Not what it says backwards, try to imagine the mirror image). The DMV won't reject it because it isn't anything their system picks up on.

I used to have SDSU (my old college) on my plates, that was pretty slick. I'm thinking of getting VVTI now, no one in Cali has it yet.

"IH8URV8" I hate your V8 incase you have trouble. An integra Yype-R at a high end performance place has that. I must admit the intergra looks bad ass, it was fully custom interior and body kit and paintjob exterior.
