well, bad news about the AC... the compressor is shot, locked beyond what my brute force can muster to make it spin, thank god it's a clutched design...

I saw it on ebay for 280 with the drier and expansion valve...

by now I'm not really sure I want it anymore, unless I manage to make the owner leave it at 2000$... which I doubt

I'm not touching the O2 until I get the vacuum issues and fuel filter sorted out, could be a sideeffect of those issues

like it except the color. after owning a black corolla, I wouldn't buy another black car.
the amber sidemarker things don't look good. nor do the fog lights to me
I'm sure you can make it look good though with whatever plans you have for it
    Nice black interior though!

Well the red and amber reflectors could just be smoked out to not make them stand out. Not blacked out but just darker.

in the local market they go from 3500-5500 (remember, we don't have insurance like in the states... so older cars still retail much higher than what they're supposed too... cause come on, they're still good cars and the insurance penalty for old care is non-existent here) so I put mine for 4000... I think it's a decent price, he gets everything except my new kenwood radio... he gets the old one I had

I paid 4000 for mine in December of 2008 slo that's a good deal I'd say. Plus yours is newer with the nicer front end, and when you say "everything" I'm assuming that means it's not stock? Which mine was, not to mention it was purple, and had a busted corner light which corollas almost always have.

Going on Friday or Saturday with my check book to look at a similar audi except this one is a charcoal color everything else is the same, as long as it passes inspection anyways.

The only thing I'm worried about with my car is interior. It's a little shabby but I'm gonna clean it up. Otherwise the car is entirely stock.
