Hmmm, sell the integra and buy a low mileage 4afe and the turbo kit for my corolla? :)

hey doc, just a thought but do you think it would be possible to do a setup using a air to water intercooler? (Reason I ask is because with my bumper I have MUCH less clearance between the front bumper and ac condenser.) This type of setup should be more efficient tho it may cost 1 or 2 hundred more, but you could probably make up for it with less labor on IC plumbing.

I personally would rather put an air to air intercooler on MY car, and that's how I'm planning on doing it with the kits. The water to air is less effective in the long run, and more expensive. However the piping is easier :)

The exception is if the car is going to be doing a lot of drag racing, in which case a water to air would be more ideal.

Do you have an aftermarket bumper? Pics?

alritey, in that case I'll take care of the charge pipes and intercooler myself when I have the monies to purchase a partial kit. I hear some pretty good things about air to water setups; higher efficiency- esp in standing conditions, less pressure drop, quicker throttle response, etc. (if i remember correctly, i believe the celica all trac uses this setup-tho most people usually switch out to a air to air unit) But I understand it all come down to personal perferance, I mean most people here would probably love to have a big shiney intercooler in the front grille.

    also my bumper:

I lost about 3-4" of bumper clearance, the grille is pratically touching the tank for the ac condenser and the foglights make routing intercooler plumbing practically impossible.

Wow, that's quite the bumper. Once we get the kits rolling, I'll set up a water/air system and offer it as an option, and send you one. Sound good?

It'll cost a little more though.

Well unless there's a demand, don't go out of your way on accounts of me. I still have some expensive plans before the turbo. I was looking at this intercooler kit earlier.
