my rusty wheels

    my rusty wheels

    i have the stock steelies that come with the ve. They have some rust on them i was wondering if and what i should use to try to get the rust off. It totally ruins the beautiful wheels.

    just use some sandpaper on the lip to remove the rust, then touch it up w/ silver paint

    yep, silver paint if you wanna get rid of the rust, also, get some good wheel cleaner like Castrol "All wheel cleaner" -man that stuff is amazing... or if your too lazy, just get some cheap plastic wheel covers...

    i would sell them/ get rims, but i dont have any money right now and im planning on getting new tires on them so i dont think rims are in my future until after winter....too bad

    I know. I tried to paint my steelies black, but they just look dull and boring. I can't find a nice glossy black. Also, I've been looking at getting some rims for the last couple months, but it's hard to save up $900+ at a time. One day...

    i hear ya man...it took an act of God for me to get my rims from my friend...they are so freakin expensive...
