And they're light weight too, 12lbs.:D

AFAIK, Konig Burner are the knock-off copies of these rims.

Oh... Hahaha. Nice. Yeah, just met with rolla4me yesterday he came down to LA for some family thing. He gave me a good deal on those overprice lugnuts.:p Hehe. Yeah, just PM me or rolla4me if you need a hook-up from the islands.

    If I were to set-up a ae101 here I'd for the sprinter version.:D

heh, dino went down to LA? Yea I got a set of JDM spec taillights from him that he got frm the PI, pretty much why i'm trying to sell my OEM set. But not yet, i'm contemplating doing a LED retrofit on my new set before putting them on (sorry I didnt get bact to you yet). Yea I thought about doing the sprinter conversion but I just cant get over how the rear looks vaugely like a 92-96? camry and I didn't want to do the bodywork to maket fit.
so this is my goal, to be completed hopfully next spring if all goes well.

Yeah, ALOT of body work has to be done for the rear. You gotta cut off the metal part of the trunk the one between the rear garnish and the bumper) to make the sprinter garnish fit, unless you bring in the whole OEM sprinter trunk.

Then you gotta make the rear corners round a bit. If you notice our 101 has a lightly pointed corner. I figure its hard if your gonna ask a local bodyshop to do the work if they don't have any experience on the conversion.

So other than that you'll have a pretty rare and hellovah good-looking 101 around.

Hmm.. just a comment on your project. Are you also gonna customize your rear garnish? Because no 101s came out with this kind of garnish.

Nice! So did you get the set of 15" with the +32 offset? Any rubbing issue? Trying to decide myself whether or not to go with a more agressive offset (+35).

Eh.. i'm just keeping things simple, no extensive bodywork for me.

Yea the garnish is custom, it's a hybrid of a AE92 and AE100 garnish. A bit of epoxy and bondo work and it'll be mines. But I do hate to cut up this brand new AE100 garnish i just brought :(
