    The love bug doesn't eat paint. The highly acidic body chemistry of the bugs splattering on your paint as you drive through swarms of them is what ruins your paint. :D Try to wash the bug remains off of the paint ASAP within an hour or two to prevent paint corrosion.

    Down here in Florida we have some bugs that come out twice a year .... There called love bugs ....and they eat your paint ..... So at the end of May when they go bye bye plus I get my rebate I will paint both the cars....LOL.... until then black will do .....LOL
