wow, lot's of interesting mods in this build. My 3 point TRD strut bar had paint chips similar to yours.. TRD just didn't use very good paint on those.

Thanks Matt. I was careful as hell when I installed it in case I dropped something on it

Yeah I've noticed quite a few of them with flaky paint. Even the powder coater commented on the poor finish. It's now had two coats of powder coat so should last for a very long time :)

These arrived this morning - Two brand new 7th Gen JDM grilles from Toyota :D. I don't actually need them for my Corolla, but bought them since my local Toyota dealership was clearing out some of it's older stock so I couldn't say no ;)

Bloody hell Scott, always at the right place at the right time....

I could only top that if I said that my local Mexican Restaurant had a clearance sale on corn flour and I happened top buy a box which in in actual fact had bags of cocaine inside it LOL

[IMG]. Speaking of drugs, my Dad bought an AE101 Sprinter sedan as a run-around car last week and I found a small clear baggie with tiny crystals inside tucked into the cubby of the rear passenger's seat. I honestly thought it was crystal meth, until I tasted some and found out it was sugar, haha. Some kid must have stuffed a lolly bag in there at some point :D

I did have, but it sold a number of weeks ago :). It's on it's way overseas as we speak, complete with a set of JDM headlights and corner lights [IMG]. Thanks for reminding me. I'll edit the first post in the thread to state that it's sold [IMG]

Man I wish I had a 7th gen, I'd swoop on some of these parts. Oh and it's killing Daniel because he doesn't know what I bought from you haha :)

Yeah the prices on eBay are very high indeed. Can't imagine how much a brand new one would be worth :D

I'll wait at the airport [IMG]

Hahaha, I was actually quite relieved. Thought that the car may have belonged to some crack heads who turned it into a mobile meth lab or something. If there's one thing I won't touch in life, it's crystal meth ;). I didn't even want to taste what was in the bag, but curiosity got the better of me [IMG]

So you would touch other things, like cocaine? I can think of PLENTY I won't touch. That fat guy from jackass? I won't touch his balls after he sweats lol

Would have been interesting if it was drugs, you'd be addicted now hahah

I would sell my car to buy all his parts, then ride my bike until I can save enough money to buy a 7th gen, then put everything on it.

Haha. The list of things I won't touch is a long one, but crystal meth is right at the top ;).

Yeah, I tried it at about 10pm, so if it was drugs I probably would have been up all night cleaning and picking my skin, lol. But in all seriousness, I don't have an addictive personality. I smoked cigarettes for years and then one day just decided to quit. No patches or weaning necessary, just stopped and haven't had one since :)

:D That would be the biggest tell tale sign.

Hahaha. The thought of all my parts on someone elses car is enough to make me want to take up smoking ciggies again [IMG]

You'd certainly be unique. Might be a little difficult when going through the McDonalds drive-thru though.

:) I tend to stay away from fast food now. The GF is trying to eat healthier, so I am too. But the stuff you gave me is coming along nicely. Did you see my comment on your profile?

Fair enough. I went down the healthy route for a while, but ended up giving in to old habits. The stuff I gave you? What stuff? Haha. Oh, no I didn't see it, but I just looked now. I've still got some of those stickers left. Haven't sold/given them to anyone though. Trying to keep that shit unique :D

Haha, I try not to use foul language when I'm on the forums.

That would be awesome! They're 737mm long, 109mm high and 50mm deep (or 30mm deep if you don't include the mounting brackets on the back).

I decided to try on the facelift grille to see what it looked like on my Corolla. Here's some comparison shots (the first photo is with my current grille and the second photo is with the facelift grille) -
