    Ok fellas i scored this afternoon, went by the yard and the dude told me get lost basically and told me.about this place astro auto (ksi company) he said i could get the bumper much cheaper than his place. So i took a ride over, they had the bumper for 50 bucks! So i snagged it up...

    So now i just need the new lights and fogs... priced them at the place with the cheap bumper each HL was 50 a piece a d the corners were 30 a piece so i said fuck that. what do i need to make this conversion happen? I know the lights i got to jimmy rig right?

    And anyone got fogs for sale? Also wheres the cheapest to get paint? Fender and bumper are both primered.

    Wheres the cheapest place to get paint? Does anyonr have any techniques or pointers? Will i need a special paint for the bumper because its plastic?

    From my understanding..

    Primer grey, primer white, then lace it with a few coats of desired color, and lastly clear coat?

    I ordered all new lights for the conversion, headlights, corners, and fogs. Will the old plugs/bulbs work in the conversion? Or do i need new ones? If so can someone point me in the direction ill need for set up?

    Depending on where you got the bumper, you'll need the trim and logo too. Check out the new members area, we're helping another new guy with the front end swap currently.

    Got all the goods for the front end swap gonna make that happen this weekend. Still need to get the paint but ill be rolling on black bumper and fender.

    Does anyone have extra trim and logo for front end? will the old logo pop in or they different sizes? How easily do the logo and trim pop off?

    I've popped them out repeatedly with no issue, maybe 7th gen ones are crappy ^^

    And they are not interchangeable, the 8.5 logo is very large. I think cBass has an extra.

    There is no trim on the 7th gen bumper.... maybe it's just the aftermarket Ebay ones where all the tabs break if you try to remove it

    Oh, well I wasn't talking about the emblems. The emblems don't break when you remove them... the chrome trim does. The little tab things fall apart.

    ok so i have 3 but 1 has a broken tab on the black mount and 1 has the emblem cracked but all tabs are fine on the mount....any way to remove the emblem from the black mount? i can make 1 good one out of 2....and the other one i used for my car lol...

    So I'm getting new tires on my TRD wheels right now. Dude who's doing it also has an 8th gen, he just did his up with coilovers and is selling his tien s springs for 70 should I buy them off him? Seems like a good deal?
