    How about one of them rebuilt 'race' 1zzfe from MWR? That's another option. It's probably going to be cheaper than a different engine code swap and you get reliability because it's rebuilt. Who knows what defects you may find when you swap in another engine from the junkyard. If JDMJody's dyno is correct, it's got close to the power of a 2zzge.

    salty,if i were you go 2zz the lift is badass and turbo friendly if you decide to go turbo,2azfe is cool only for boost and the motor heavy motor compare to the 2zz.
