Engine Mods to do that are free or less than 20 dollars

*blink* *blink*... ok this thread has gone compleatly too far south... I'm debateing cleaning it out... but I'm kind of entertained on where its going...

very true.. I cut mine for looks reasons (the shift knob I got made my shifter look like a truck shifter) and I'll tell you what... it actually lengthend my shifts

The question that was asked was what mods can be done for $20?

The answer to that question is...not many...and zero worthwhile power gaining mods. I had a friend the other day tell me he was going to buy a Turbo-nator...I told him to save his money...alot of those ultra cheap "performance" parts are a rip. So TRDracing...my advice to you as a 22 year old, who has been in your situation is be creative.

My firebird was killer...I spent $50 on a set of black emblems from Pontiac...and it cost me 2 cases of beer to have my rims painted black. (granted a buddy who was over 21 had to actually buy the beer for me)

The point is...you are better off putting aside $20 a paycheck...or a month, or whatever and saving up for a larger mod.

I'm saving up atm for new shocks, new radiator, have my engine flushed, same for tranny, new engine mounts... and that's it for then...

make the car look like a 2002 LE, red out rear lights, white corners, white fog lamps, M3 mirrors as the only rice thing

maybe paint the car black, shave ALL letters in the back... maybe rims when I need new tires, maybe...
the best you can do is some good spark plugs and the K&N filter that you have hehe, I run plat 4+, dunno if they are the best, but they are **** good for long trips, gas economy sky rockets in highway
corolla has enough power in stock form for my small talk, no frill ride.

your in the same situation as I am I like your car it looks dope! I gotta get my car painted, my paint on my door is freaking flaking off in peices the size of a quarters lol...
