Mid Atlantic Mischief.tv presents the “Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET” Summer Show on 8/28

It has been a hot and humid summer but we are wishing that mother nature will give us a break in hopes that all the car enthusiasts of the Mid Atlantic region will come out from their hiding. Pull off those car covers, turn the key to hear the sound of that beast that you have been building for the past couple of months, and head on over to the Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET Summer Show at Dash Motors & Performance (8132 Sudley Road, Manassas, Virginia 20109) on Sunday, August 28th from 12-5 pm. There will be live DJ performances by LJ MTX and DJ Jon Deke, media coverage by Mischief.tv, and food vendors. Admission is free so bring the entire family but we ask that only modified cars park on the dealership property (space is limited). There is plenty of parking at the surrounding businesses and we recommend showing up early in order to get a good parking spot.

It has been confirmed that the Baltimore Grand Prix will be attending the event! Make sure to stop by and check out their Indy show car and get a picture with the checkered flag girls that will be accompanying it. They will also be selling tickets to the upcoming race and official BGP merchandise. Below is a overview of the race and please visit their website for more information - www.baltimoregrandprix.com.

"The Baltimore Grand Prix will be a spectacular three-day "festival of speed" in downtown Baltimore, MD, taking place September 2-4, 2011. It will be part of the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series schedule and the 2011 American Le Mans Series schedule. The weekend event will feature world-class motorsports competition from several racing series, culminating in Sunday's IZOD IndyCar Series race. In addition to the high-speed thrills of professional racing, a wide variety of entertainment and activities will be scheduled for people of all ages to create an exciting three days of speed and entertainment."

At this time, the “Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET” Summer Show is still a go for Sunday. The organizers have decided to hold off on making a decision until Saturday in hopes that Mother Nature will be nice to us. If we do decide to cancel for this weekend, the show will be moved to Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 12-5 pm. Thanks again for all the support that has been shown for this event and please keep your fingers crossed.

The 2011 "F@#& Mother Nature" Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET presented by Mischief.tv is still a go! We are moving the start time to 1pm and will end at 6pm. If your ride didn’t get swallowed up by the earthquake or washed away by the hurricane, then bring you’re a$$ out. If you can’t make it this time, we are still planning on having an “End of Season” meet in late October or early November. Hope to see a good showing tomorrow and thanks for all the support.

You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day than what we had on Sunday. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make the show so successful, especially Dash Motors & Performance for allowing us to use their lot/facility and Mischief.tv for the media coverage. The next event is tentatively planned for November 13, 2011 so keep an eye out for the official thread. I will post a link to the pictures / video once they have all been edited and loaded to the website.
