I would be interested in a ppe header for our cars. i would love to see what they would do. the megan one leaves soo much on the table to be desired, like a nice merged collector. its just a pressed piece of shit. the 4 pipes just dump into there. so much wasted pulse energy and lack of proper scavenging. the sad thing is the megan header DOES make power over the stock piece. a fair bit too. maybe 7-9 hp and a good deal in mid range torque. i could only see a ppe header making so much more power all over the powerband.

plus, im almost positive the exhaust ports for the 1zz and 2zz fall in close areas. i need to get my spare 1zz on a stand and measure it. then swap out for the 2zz and measure. but hell, if it is very close, they could easily make a 2zz swap header... just sayin

oh pics shall be posted and i currently have 4 engines for my corolla. 2 1zz's, one vvti (running in the car now) one non vvti that spun a bearing and 2 2zz's. one with a spun bearing i bought like that hoping it wasnt as bad as it turned out to be and then the 39k mile bottom end i just bought. i will be rebuilding the head and adding in a couple other goodies along the lines of mwr stg 3 cams and supporting mods, arp head studs, lightened flywheel... just basic stuff.

I called Megan today. They said they're going to call their suppliers to see when the next batch is going to be made.
