I've heard some stories that a guy with a 20v engine couldn't use his car for weeks because he had to wait for his timing belt to arrive from Japan. I wouldn't like that hassle.

It had 74000+ miles. Sold it for $5,600

i say keep your current car. i miss my corolla quite a bit for the gas mileage I got with it. If i still had the corolla, i would be spending more time tinkering with my subie. I would say check to see what your insurance is going to be like first and then do your financial calculations.

Hey guys. I got a question for you all. I'm getting a new car relatively soon, so I need to consider my options. Should I sell the Corolla to make room for the WRX, or should I make room for the Corolla and keep it with my WRX? It's a tough choice since the Corolla is my first car and it's finally complete. I really don't want to part it out... If there was someone who would take care of it and buy it as it is, I wouldn't object.

you're suppose to 'enjoy the ride' for a little while after your car is complete, otherwise the work kinda goes into waste, at least drive it for another 2 months
make room for the corolla and keep it w/ the WRX. then after u got enough of 'enjoying the ride' of the corolla then its time to sell.
