Hey DOT, did you ever get your knock sensor fixed? i got one a few weeks after yours and i erased the code and today when it was raining, it came back on.. i think its becoming faulty. anyway, let me know if you got yours fixed and how much did the part cost?

Nope, haven't fixed it. My CEL turned off by itself for about a week and then it came back on. I think it's just some loose vacuum hose or something. I hate troubleshooting these things.


@Spammer: I'm not 100% sure this Friday, I've a meeting in Glendale after work. Just drop me a line and I could meet you anytime other than Friday. Oh, I just bumped up the price to.... HAHAHAHA.

Looks like a lot of us won't be able to make this Friday's meet. And Monday is out of the question since it's too close to Christmas. I guess we'll have to meet next Friday.

9000K, but you can always replace the bulbs to the color temperature that you like. They are still really bright if you remember what they looked like from the last meet. Wait, you have the pictures! LOL

Hey, DrunkSaru... didn't you say you were in the market for HID's for your GC8? Well, I just happen to have my 9003/H4 bixenon kit for sale. It's the same application for your model. Let me know if you want them. I paid over 200 for them, but I'll give them to you for 120 at the meet. Or if you don't have enough now, I can put them on hold.
