Yup! Acura TSX projectors, Denso-Koito ballasts, and I had my housings painted with a special high-heat paint/primer combo that is used on Boeing jet parts. :D

Total cost---around $650. I can make a DIY thread if you want.

BTW, the silver Camry in those pictures is retrofitted with S2000 projectors.

I'm going to be doing a retrofit over the winter break. I found the perfect projectors for the project. It's just a bit expensive.

That looks great! I can't wait to get mine retrofitted. My 50W should be even brighter than the 35Ws.

Eh... but H4 projectors are halogen projectors.

If you can afford it, D4S is the way to go. Best/brightest output, less dangerous in case the bulb explodes or something (very rare, but its happened), and they last longer than other HID bulbs.

I'm not a big fan of D1S though.

Hehe, thanks. :) Its definitely worth the money. If I could go back and have a choice of whether to do it again or not, I would absolutely do it. I have an '07 Camry in the garage, and I can't stand driving that thing at night... I feel like I can't see ANYTHING using those halogen lights 'cause I've been spoiled by my retrofit. Haha.

Oh, and in case some of you guys don't go to CSUN, or were wondering, those pics were taken at the OTHER parking structure at CSUN. Haha. ;)

@KamuriMike: NICE output. Hmm... I got to save up for this project.

@Spammer: We need to buy new bulbs for this. We can't use 9006 or H4 bulbs.:(

No you don't. That's the beauty of it. I've already sourced H4 projectors. You can also retro fit the H4 bulb into an Audi D1S projector housing. Almost a perfect fit.

I just bought another HID kit so I don't want to spend money an a completely different setup. I'd rather use what I have to make it work. I'll see how it turns out.

I don't know about Friday... doubt I'd be able to wash my car in time. My last final is tomorrow, but I'm probably going to hibernate for 15-16 hours when I get home. lol

lol Have you ever tried that Red Zone stuff? That energy drink that they keep locked away and they only sell it to 18+? That shit is ridiculous... they only recommend drinking half of it at a time... and a buddy of mine just downed the whole thing... he told me for about 3 hours he felt like he was going to have a heart attack. lol

I never drink energy drinks unless I have to, which is never. Coming from a heavy biology background, I have to tell you that you are slowly committing suicide every time you pick one up. As if the sugar in them isn't bad enough, they are composed of methylxanthines (including caffeine), B vitamins, and herbal ingredients. Other ingredients commonly include guarana (extracts from the guarana plant) or taurine plus various forms of ginseng, maltodextrin, inositol, carnitine, creatine, glucuronolactone and ginkgo biloba. Guarana has similar effects to caffeine and taurine is thought to accelerate the effects of caffeine and the latter. If you keep consuming them on a regular basis, you can destroy you kidneys, liver, and impair countless other bodily functions.

^^^ I'm fine with that. I don't want to live TOO long. :)

As long as my kids finish college and have their own family. I'm good to go. HAHAHAHA.

I'm sure I'll have lots of fun at your funeral. :D LOL JK It's really bad stuff. It doesn't even taste that great. I'd rather do short 20 minute power naps instead. hehe

Anyways... on a different note. We might be having more members joining us. As you all know KamuriMike and his friend from ToyotaNation are joining our next meet. I just sent an invitation inviting more SoCal TN members to our weekly meet. I guess my spamming is beneficial afterall! Get the word out. :D That is all.
