why did you choose the sc300 over the IS300? doesnt the SC300 come with a 1JZGE, but ive also read it much easier to do the swap

    sc300 at least the non-minority report looking ones...had a 2jz also.

and its not really a "conversion" if you just slap a turbo in there you can call it a 2jz-gte ;) wouldn't have to change the engine around. the 6spd swap is where its going to hurt the pocket.

^^ The sportcrossses are the only IS300's with an open diff. That's also another reason if may be difficult to get the rear out. The sedans are the only ones with the factory lsds.

I want the sideskirts and the intake, let me know when you part it out.

:superconf Its a rear wheel drive car. All the engines should be mounted longitudinally.

You're right. My bad. I was thinking about the 2JZGTE swap in an AE86 for some reason.

With the prices of cars dropping and folks being unable to keep up with payments or need ways to pay off other stuff... better to just save up now and decide when you have all the money together- maybe you'll find something better by then. Other than that, IS300 is a great car, and pretty quick/reliable. Are you looking for speed? Comfort? Or both?

yes it has the same motor as the Supra , i like the oldschool cars more and the swap is easy to do im geting rid of the jz and droping the 2jzgte for more power CFT got one to 900whp with the stock bottom end.:D

To me it looks just more aggressive. ;)

Well it's called the baby Supra because it's got the same layout and once turbo, it's exactly the same.
