Manufacturer says they're out of the black 03 kit, but they're making more. They estimate a shipping date of April 21 (9 days... plus like 5 days ground shipping...grrr 2 weeks). I CAN'T WAIT!!!

It took me about 13 hours. It took me a little longer because I used the hog rings instead of cable ties. It's time consuming, but was well worth it, just be prepared for aching hands.

    Wow

Looks amazing boys, I am soo tempted to get those bad boys.....
Just a few questions about the install....
    1) Did you have to physically remove the front and back seats from the car
    2) When removing the cloth, did you have to cut it off, or did it just pull off?
    3) Can anyone post a link of the instructions for install, just to give everyone an idea of how it will be, thanks!

okay so far, I have the headrests on. Woohoo :!: Well I'm doing the rest tomorrow
Hey xrolla, how many hog rings did you use for the complete install?
Did you use the existing ones? What kind of hog ring pliers did you use?
I know there's one thats curved at the end and one that isn't. Thanks for any help.

You will not use all of the hog rings as there are not as many attachment points on the leather seats. I used the existing hog rings and used regular and needle nose pliers for the install. Just take your time and use your own judgement as to where the hog rings attach. Goodluck.

questions to all those who installed their own leather kit from ebay...was there anything special needed for the install...such as what tools were used....also is there any sort of glue used to hold this down? cause when i went to my local shop for a query on leather seats they quoted me 600$ for what ever color..single or two toned...and they said that its take a day for the seats to dry....so that why im wondering with this kit is there any waiting period for drying?

perhaps they mean it'll take the dye a day to dry. If you decide to have colored leather. All I bought for my install was hog ring pliers but you don't really even need those. You can get the whole thing done with 2 sets of needle nose pliers.

what are hog rings by the way? i took my headrest out and is it those two circle metal clips? also how did you guys take off the stock cloth? did you guy rip it apart... also do you need to take the actual seat out to install the leather

The hog rings are round metal clips that hold the fabric to the seat frames. with the stock cloth you have to start at the bottom and remove the hog rings as you pull the cloth off the seat frame. You have to take all your seats out to install the leather.
