Just got ticket... after a clean 2.5 years.

I'm still going to pay the guy. It costs money to run the site and help out others like me. More power to him.

I know it was my fault but I wasn't intentionally speeding. I was just trying to get home so I could rest. He could have let me off with warning and "make sure you make it home safe and get some rest". I think he was just trying to make his quota. But I still have learned my lesson. Even if I circumvent this ticket, I still don't like being pulled over and having to deal with the courts. I'll just have to get enough rest from now on before hitting the road. But I'm sure that if a person has the option of paying the ticket and taking traffic school or not paying and not having to do anything else, they would pick the latter.
