Just add moar powar who needs 1st gear?
People with N/A 1zz's
Throwout bearing/input shaft also started the death whine, so I couldn't really keep it going. The damn 7M had enough torque to start out in second under 700 rpm every time, unless there was an incline.

Irvin goosed it! On what, like 8 lbs?
I need something lower than first
New guy using smilies, I always like that lol
I didn't see him like anything either
This happened before 1000 today.

Wow can I have one...
I gotta hold on to these for now, R154s are like gold these days as you know
I'm putting a 1J I'm building into this car and the 7M I just pulled into the red car in the background after a quick refresh.
That's badass. Maybe I'll head down to ToyotaFest next year and meet up with everyone.
Post more about the 1J, I want to learn more lol
I have a w58 in mine.
I'll do a 1J pic dump in this thread some time, want to "finish the photoset" first, if you know what I mean.
Oh I know what you mean.
Nice! Just needs a single turbo now
Hey can you get a close up of the Map sensor? I wanna take a look at the wiring
Oh no wonder you ditched me....
oops! I had a sexy mistress with a gorgeous set of twins who needed some tweaking. how could I resist!
Press Y U NEED a pic of map sensor?
I was working on mine and noticed the wires were cut...
I know a JZ will run with no MAP, but codes would be thrown. Hope you didn't go to the dyno on that.
Is yours a Supra 1JZ?
If so, this diagram will do it for you. Right in the middle of the page, is the "vacuum sensor/map" block.
Pin 1: Brown - Ground
Pin 2: Light Green/Black Stripe - PIM
Pin 3: Blue/Black Stripe - VC
Connector pinout is small d on the second to bottom row:
Toyota pin order is always left to right on the female side, with clip up. remember the gender is determined by the actual pin gender, not the connector housing at all.
Very Clean install. Instead of a big single I think the CT15 single from the VVT 1j would work as well. Don't quote me.
Thanks James! Nah I'm sure it didn't go on the dyno like that. It was probably cut accidentally when I was doing the heater core bypass. Got it fixed.
My engine is from a soarer actually, but it's got a supra harness
Any mods planned for the engine?
how much power are you putting out?
^^^ I see James a lurkin and liekin
