Swapping motors from an older car into a newer car isn't legal. I learned that a while ago. Those who still do are breaking the law. But I'm talking about law abiding citizens who just want to fix up their cars while still adhering to the laws. Its discrimination all over again. No racial discrimination but ricer/racer discrimination.
    For example:
Case: A group of speeding vehicles. One stands out from installed ground effects and louder exhaust.
Action: Only that vehicle is pulled over and ticketed.
Conclusion: The driver of that car was singled out and discriminated against.

Its so retarded, since some stock vehicles and motorcycles are louder or flashier than most modified cars from the factory. i.e. Super cars, Harley Davidson's.

like the ones that are legal sell , and the ones that arent , crush w/ the car?

but see that brings up , why crush the car , sure take it and the liscense from the racer , strip the illegal parts and crush them , part out the wheels and legal parts , then sell the car as a whole , all while putting the funds towards something for a good cause.

you guys ever heard of "beat the heat"? it goes on at some local tracks . you can drag race against law enforcment cars , legally on the track , as well as compare lap times w/ law enforcment officers behind the wheel of their vics , at autocross , and track events.

obviously this program hasnt made it across america yet. its been here in the southeast for about 4 years.

I disagree. If you are caught illegally racing on the street then I support the crushing of their cars. Selling parts will just result in having those parts show up on another street racers car. However if they crush cars just for being modified then thats bullshit.

dude, that shit if completly fucked up. all they need to do is strip the car down, sell all the parts and then sell the car. it actually cost money to run those machines to crush the things. im tired of cops trying to be badass and "crackdown on illegal street racing". man, most smart street racers dont race through traffic anyway, they go to backroads. and most of the accidents you see are from stupid people trying to show off and not know what they are doing. if you are a good racer you know your limits as well as your cars. like, its just dumb as hell to me. at worst i think you should just take their license and then let them keep the car so that they still have something. this shits getting outta hand

<img src="http://vvti.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" /> im sure it took em while to think about that , also gives em heads up on who not to watch and who to watch , so really it benefits them.

That would be better. As long as the driver is educated about illegal street racing.
