I did try to drift it a little bit, but it was a bit to terrifying to pull anything off LOL.

Due to the country's high latitude, it never got dark while we were there. Talk about strange lol. But it was awesome, because it meant I could go hiking for hours at night by myself. This picture was taken at 10pm:



I climbed this mountain after one dinner. Spectacular views. This was almost midnight:

Naturally, the sunsets can be very beautiful and drawn out. Of course, the sunset turns right into the sunrise:





Onto some animals. Apparently, there are 400,000 sheep in Iceland. But only 300,000 people!



Fences don't seem to mean much here (neither does trespassing BTW

And some "city" shots. Even the capital city of Reykjavik was sparsely populated compared to the cities I'm used to. Very European, quite refreshing.

The traffic lights turn yellow before they go to green (instead of an all-red phase), which I thought was cool:



And they've still got their ricers with HID kits:



"Superjeeps" are used for offroading and general intimidation of the occasional driver:




And the police use Volvos of course. In fact, I never heard a single siren or horn in Iceland.

Looks like there is a much slower, much more agreeable pace to life there.

A pace of life I fully enjoyed. People are nice and aren't just in their own world. Not many people on their cell phones. Everyone seems to know everyone else.

Honestly, before those happen, Icelanders will be just like us now with cellphones and the like. I'd say they are 5-10 years behind us.

The second gen IS came out here in 2003. I fail to see your point.
