I need opinions from stylish people!

I'm probably getting my car painted fairly soon. I'm debating between regular black, or a black / pearl. I may also get bigger front brakes. My valve cover is red...I'm thinking about powdercoating my calipers red also, but I want everything to look good. Not tacky. I'm also getting newer taillights and I'm thinking about a newer wing (both '94spec vs my '91). Here's 94 wing/tails:

do a black pearl.. red brakes will compliment your car nicely as long as they're not painted stock calipers..

If I do anything with brakes, it will be stock '93+ calipers. I'm not willing to drop $1000 on brakes at the moment.

I wouldnt paint the calipers , Depending on what the black pearl will have in it , I would do that or at least a shinny wet look black ..... The wing would look good especailly if you can get those tail lights ...


But your car looks nice the way it is maybe some wheels and lower it other then that you got the look ....

I wouldnt paint the stock calipers, it looks really rice.

Whenever I see painted stock calipers I'm like Z0MG RED STOCK CALIPERS!!! This car MUST be fast! keep them black. if anything repaint them black so they don't have a rusty corroded look.

I can get a 94 wing for $175.

94 tails are $540 from the dealer.

Usually in the $400 range for used, from what I've found. Ack. My current lights are broken, though (center panel is really messed up).

the factory BSP (black sand pearl) on my xrs absolutely POPS with a coat of wax on it... nothing else out there looks like it.

if your car were mine i would paint the calipers gloss black and redo the valvecover in wrinkle black... along with the compressor housing and charge piping.

Hmm..didn't think about making the engine black. That would probably look pretty good if I could keep it clean.

Maybe when I move west, I'll redo the engine.

black pearl ftw and ya if u will ever paint your calipers, paint it flat black

+1 for black pearl, but i would keep with the plan for red calipers will go better with engine accents

I'm now thinking about saving $600 and staying with 91-93 tails & wing for a 93-spec car instead of 94-spec..

I think the taillights and spoiler look nice just as they are now.
